There are so many ways you can make a difference with your digital printer. GSW was the proud print sponsor of the charity ‘Ladles of Love‘ who organised x3 Mandela Day community events – bringing together over 5000 volunteers, feeding over 67,000 people, donating thousands of food packs, school supplies, clothing, blankets and raising over R2 million rand for South Africans in need!

As the Proud Print Sponsors – we used the Mimaki JV and UJV printers to produce posters, pull-up banners, pvc signage banners and more on a wide range of media like paper, canvas, pvc and vinyl! We printed thousands of stickers for food jars and labels for seed planting packs on our Mimaki CJV and UCJV print & cut machines. Using our smaller print solutions to make meal vouchers and the large Kongsberg cutter allowed us to create fun correx board cut outs for the kids to colour in and decorate the ECD School classrooms. Using our textile and DTF solutions, the GSW team branded volunteer and kids clothing for the charity.

The superheroes at ActionPrint.co.za, a loyal GSW client in Pretoria, kindly printed all the correx directional signage, posters and custom bunting flags. They are constantly giving back to their community and can print absolutely anything!

We asked the incredible Digital Express team in Cape Town, using their textile printer, to create and generously donate 3x3meter Banner Wall fabrics for each event.

Lastly 24 Media, who is a new GSW customer that specialises in a huge variety of print solutions, helped print over 20,000 Book Covers for the township kids which were made into colouring in numbers and letters for the schools.

Thanks to Ladles of Love for doing so much good; we are grateful to have been a small part of their giant efforts to help feed, educate and give back to the South African youth.
