Graphix Supply World Collaborating with FEDISA

Fedisa

Graphix Supply World and FEDISA announces a collaboration which will see students at South Africa’s leading fashion university work on exciting and mutually beneficial projects. GSW recently visited FEDISA campuses in Cape Town and Johannesburg and met with students to discuss the ever-changing and rapidly evolving world of printing. GSW is an authorized dealer for Mimaki printers, a global industry leader and manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers, cutting plotters and 3D modelling machines.  Additionally, Mimaki have recently introduced the market leading TS100-160 for the textile industry.

“We want to be able to give back and invest in the students”, says Rob Franco, MD at Graphix Supply World. “FEDISA will be our exclusive student collaboration partner. Our discussion with the students and faculty leaders was incredibly fruitful and we’re looking forward to seeing how their passion shines through in this partnership.”

GSW has had a busy 2022 thus far, making appearances at the FESPA Global Print Expo 2022 in Berlin this past June, and more recently at the 7th International Print Pack Sign Expo in Nairobi, Kenya. The company, which has seen tremendous growth over the last few years, will now work closely with FEDISA students on collaborations and projects that will see the aspiring young designers be exposed to a growing, fast-paced printing industry.

“GSW will be using some of the students’ design works on the road at events around South Africa and the rest of the world, as well as in our showrooms in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. It will be great to see how local culture and distinctly African design can truly stand out – we know what these students are capable of and now we’re ready to show them off”, said Franco

“We encourage our customers and those who are watching with a keen eye to keep a watch of our social media for updates around this exciting campaign. Needless to say, we’re excited to see what FEDISA students will come up with.”
