A leading global manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and cutting plotters for the sign/graphics, textile/apparel and industrial markets unveiled a brand new printer-cutter earlier this month at Viscom Paris. And very soon Graphix Supply World will host its African debut – see these machines in action at Propak Cape 2014 from 21-13 October at the CTICC.
This printer-cutter delivers best-in-class print speed of up to 105.9 square meters per hour for high productivity rates. Its two newly developed staggered printheads deliver a wider print swath, and ink drops ranging from 4 pl to 35 pl create beautiful high-resolution printing. Continuous register mark detection enables the continuous cutting of an entire roll of media while simultaneously taking up unrolled media. Zero margin register marks reduce media consumption by eliminating the margins between register marks, for less waste of often costly media.
The integrated cut functionality enables volume production of labels, decals, T-shirt transfers, window clings, floor graphics, POP displays, vehicle markings, package prototypes and more in a single unit
An exciting new silver ink delivering brightness of 1.67 times greater than that of conventional silver inks is available with these printers. Silver ink can be used to create metallic color effects, which are in high demand for label, decal and package prototyping applications.
