Jonathan Gratch has an infectious enthusiasm for Printstagram, a unique corporate gifting business that he started in January 2014. Printstagram is a dynamic online system that specialises in short run customized gifting and places control of the design process squarely in the hands of the user. Private individuals can log in and design items such as pens, phone covers and canvas for printing From 1st October 2014, an increasing number of small-medium print businesses will be using Prinstagram’s integrated workflow system, enabling them to compete with larger players and engage the mass market. The need for multiple proofs and quality checking is eliminated as designs are loaded and sent directly to print, bypassing the middle man. As Printstagram is a full e-commerce store all payments are quick, simple and upfront.
Printstagram maintains their own manufacturing facility and is constantly innovating, coming up with new ideas and more efficient processes. A significant component of their formidable creative arsenal is their Mimaki machines purchased from Graphix Supply World:
- the UJF (desktop UV LED flatbed printer),
- the CJV30-160 (printer/cutter)
- and two JFX flatbeds (high precision large format UV LED printers)
Jonathan’s pride and joy is his Esko Kongsberg cutting table, recently acquired from Graphix Supply World. A machine which he describes as a “golden god”, he states can change the face of any business from a manufacturing perspective due to its precision and the unlimited possibilities it offers.
Jonathan appreciates that Graphix Supply World have an intimate understanding of their products and have their finger on the pulse of what’s latest and greatest in the marketplace. The Printstagram team’s dedication and creative thinking have seen them make massive strides in just 9 months and Graphix Supply World wishes them well and looks forward to being part of their ongoing journey.
