Graphix Supply World, Africa’s leading digital solutions supplier to the print, signage, textile, packaging and graphics-related industries, showcased numerous groundbreaking and cost-saving solutions across 3 booths at this year’s Sign Africa show: 21-23 August 2013.
Exhibiting a number of Mimaki’s new products, together with Primera label solutions, display systems, finishing solutions and textile printers. Graphix Supply World are proud to report an extremely successful show this year in Johannesburg despite the difficult economy.
Revolutionary new technology from Mimaki drew many people to the stand, to witness in particular the UV Solvent ink technology in the new Mimaki JV400-160 SUV printer. The printer is available in 1.3m and 1.6m wide, the new ink technology combines the flexibility of solvent ink with the durability of UV cured ink. The JV400-SUV printer delivers a smooth, glossy print result, which is incredibly durable, vibrant and flexible and can withstand scuffing and abrasion without any overlamination.
The JV400 LX printer and LX-101 latex ink developed by Mimaki, has numerous advantages over the competition. The groundbreaking JV400-130/160LX allows end-users more choice, for less money. Better quality, better value, better options, better savings and are environmentally friendly. The JV400LX gives lower production costs, greater efficiency and constitutes Mimaki’s commitment to eco-friendliness.
Once again Mimaki has proved that they are the leaders when it comes to responding to market needs. 12 units of the Mimaki CJV30 large format digital print and cut machine with bulk ink system were sold and delivered after the show. Original Mimaki BS3 ink solutions have been provided to help customers lower their print cost, and stay competitive. This popular Mimaki BS3 ink enables printers to produce the same high quality work, for less, by lowering print costs and being competitive in the tougher marketplace. This ink lowers costs by up to half compared to any other original ink, without risking damaging machines with unreliable third party ink
In GSW’s quest to supply entry level solutions we introduced TheMagicTouch which has been appropriately dubbed the ‘Swiss Army Knife’ by the printing industry, as the compact machine that can print on everything, including leather, textiles, ceramics, metal and more. 21 units of the Magic Touch were signed at the show.
“With something for everyone, from mom-and-pop shops looking for entry-level solutions, to multinational print houses needing fast production solutions, GSW has it all” says Robert Franco, MD of Graphix Supply World. “2 years ago GSW introduced our in-house finance option, the market values this and this is what sets us apart from our competitors”
