UV Inkjet Printer for Packaging Proofs and Small Jobs
The UJF-605RII offers direct UV curable printing on soft films for packaging samples, proofing and short-run production. This innovative UV inkjet printer is ideal for high quality short-run production on roll to roll and sheet fed packaging materials.
In general we can say that the speed of a high quality table size print (60 x 50cm) is between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on the number of colours and the use of white ink.
The UJF-605RII uses UV curable ink free of volatile organic chemicals (VOCs). In addition, the printer’s UV lamp does not generate any ozone.
The UJF-605RII uses Mimaki’s UV curable inks with its own formulae, free of VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds). The Mimaki UV curable inks have a wider colour gamut and high density, thereby enabling the production of highly vivid images with beautiful and opaque colours in accurate detail. Mimaki’s UV curable inks are less odorous, ensuring a cleaner working environment.
The highly opaque UV white ink can be used as backing print on transparent substrates, which is crucially important when working with images containing white, such as milk or snow.
The included Rasterlink Pro RIP software is equipped with 16 bit rendering which features the elimination of tone jump and fine colour reproduction. It also allows smoother gradation.
