The CGSRII Series brings a great value at an affordable price, satisfying even the most professional users. The optical sensor enables automatic consecutive detection of crop marks throughout the nested images. Moreover, together with the automatic adjustment function, it helps to achieve precise contour cutting.
With the Mimaki Contour Cut method, it is possible to cut the sticker (or other top layer) and not the backing sheet. For accurate contour cutting of printed images, such as stickers, the registration mark detection recognises marks that are printed on the media. By recognising these marks the distance to the image can be accurately calculated.
Mimaki’s cutting plotters can also cut completely through the media, leaving little connection points, so the image does not fall on the floor. These connection points can be easily detached. This patented technique by Mimaki is called Half-Cut.
