Graphix Supply World hosted an open house day at its Johannesburg branch, providing clients the opportunity to see the latest innovations on offer.
The solutions showcased included the Formech 508 FS vacuum former, supplied by Maritime Marketing, of which Graphix Supply World have recently partnered with. The machine is ideal for signage applications that include the fabrication of lettering and lighting boxes, and works well with acrylic sheets.
Additionally, a wide range of Mimaki products were showcased, including:
- Mimaki CJV150-130 print and cut on one machine.
- Mimaki SWJ-320S4 3.2m wide printer.
- Mimaki UJF3042 UV LED flatbed promotional printer.
- Mimaki TS300P-1800 1.8m wide dye sublimation printer.
- Mimaki TX300-1800 1.8m wide direct to textile printer.
Darryl Braithwaite, sales director at Graphix Supply World commented, ‘GSW wanted to showcase everything from solvent based print and cut, to UV LED rigid printing, finishing and cutting to textile printing. The aim was to display from print to finished article.
‘The EFI Vutek GS3250LX Pro UltraDrop was the machine everybody was interested in. The sheer size of the machine, the speed at which it prints, the various applications that it allows for, and the pristine quality it offers made it the star attraction of the open house.
‘Clients were also equally impressed by the Kongsberg flatbed cutter, the Mimaki SWJ-320 3,2m wide printer and the Mimaki CJV150 print and cut on one machine. Extra wide format printing is on the increase, and clients are looking for an all in one supplier, from the printer, through to the finishing equipment. Textile is growing massively, and the applications it allows for make it an attractive segment of the market to enter.’
